I didn't live through the Spanish Inquisition.
But if I did, my guess it would have been just a little bit like WIVB in early 1990's. Ok, that's not fair. The Spanish Inquisition probably had nicer furniture.
NO... ! Seriously, some really great people there all pulled together during several reigns of terror.
There are a handful of things that I still hear in my sleep. Hello Rochester is one of them. As you can see in other work that I have done, big logos seem to be a theme. I must have been overcompensating for something.
In 1992, we were the Pizza Hut station. It's a long story. But everything we did had Pizza Hut on it. I mean, EVERYTHING. Alisse Sikes - my coworker with the clipboard is about the sweetest person I've ever met. And Carl Carbone with the camera. My buddy Bert Gambini and his son. And the sweetie Stephanie Gunderman in the middle. (By the way, Stephanie has her own kids now)
Here we go again with big logos. I actually built this one.
Recruiting many "local talent" to be in this spot to make small talk with Kevin O'Connell as he gavorted around Buffalo. Special appearances by Bert Gambini as "guy at Pilot Field". (yes, it was called Pilot Field at one point)
