I can't claim to be any kind of historian for Channel 9. I started there after the move into the "new" building in Eden Prairie. But we certainly heard some great stories about the building on York Ave, everyone who worked on Viking Drive certainly knew what a special place it was.
Stephanie Peterson gave John and I some really good advice early in our careers. She said, "If you are going to use humor, it needs to be funny". I've lived by those words. I am sure John has too.
That's Rachel Thompson cruising down the road, John Dunn grilling and my daughter Sydney, who is now 24.
Gosh, look at those kids. Such promise and youthful energy. Except that chef guy, I knew he would never amount to much.
This was all Tammy, John and Kevin's work. They did a great job launching this extravaganza.
Bitter-sweet to see Mike Tsoliinas who died in 2016. One of the good guys.
Funny how we did an entire tribute to Stu, and never actually showed him in the video. Not much of a tribute. Sorry about that Stu.
It sure would be great to hear Alan Beck's explosive laugh right now.
This was another great example of something getting dumped in John's lap - and he made something great out of it. Nice to see all those faces again.
